Andrea is originally from Tucson, AZ where she graduated Valedictorian of her high school class, went on to receive Cum Laude honors and a degree in Engineering and a minor in Theater Arts from the University of Arizona. Upon her arrival to Los Angeles, she began to act in independent films, including several short films and features. During her experiences, she also developed a passion for the creative process, and began to incorporate producing into her repertoire. Andrea began working as a producer to understand the financial components and all the critical elements behind the lens. One of Andrea’s films she produced was Jesse Baget's White Knight (now known as Cellmates), which was acquired by Gravitas Ventures, Viva Pictures and Warner Brother’s Digital for distribution and won 9 best picture awards at various prestigious festivals. Her recent producing project, the Alcazar directed, Johnny Tapia documentary, Tapia (Executive Produced by Fifty Cent), premiered at the LA Film Festival and won several Best Documentary Awards at film festivals and was sold to HBO. On the acting front, Ms. Monier recently starred in a number of new releases including Black Water Vampire, Day of the Mummy alongside Danny Glover, All Hallows’ Eve 2, and The Three Dogateers Save Christmas with Dean Cain. She currently is developing several independent projects and is set for production for the Johnny Tapia narrative feature Johnny, this fall.
